Study Rooms

The study rooms are one of the most popular services at the Library. These private spaces are available by reservation, and the furnishings and equipment are designed to facilitate collaboration. Conference-style seating, dry-erase boards, and Smart Board technology provide students with an ideal location to brainstorm, write, and practice presentations.

Because the existing study rooms are constantly reserved by students, the Library has renovated space and constructed additional rooms. We seek partners to endow these prominently-located rooms that can accommodate study groups, student activity groups, and student club meetings.

The donor’s name will be prominently displayed at the entrance to the room and inside the room. When students reserve the room online, information about the benefactor will appear alongside a photograph of the room. The endowment would generate spendable earnings to continually update the room with the latest technology and maintain comfortable and functional furnishings.

“I love the fact that the Library has private rooms for group meetings so you don’t disturb other people.”

“The study rooms were a GREAT idea, although more of them would be nice.”
